Pat Donaldson is a multi-generational native Idahoan who grew up in Emmett, ID. He earned a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Idaho. He started his career with Morrison-Knudsen Corporation in their Heavy Civil Construction division and spent nearly 15 years traveling around the country working in various engineering positions on a variety of major construction projects including the Rocky Mountain Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project in Rome, Georgia, light rail bridge projects in California and Oregon, and the E470 Freeway in Colorado.
After M-K, Pat was hired by the State of Idaho and worked for various agencies where he held several positions from Facilities Manager to Division Administrator. During his 27-year tenure at the state, Pat was responsible for procurement and contract administration for the development, design, and construction of close to a thousand capital improvement and alteration and repair projects. Pat recently retired as the Administrator for the State of Idaho Division of Public Works responsible for the management of a majority of the construction projects for state agencies and universities across the state.
