Jessica Stewart's journey in construction began long before she knew where it would take her. Raised on her family's farm in Idaho's Treasure Valley, she grew up with an appreciation for hard work, resourcefulness, and the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. At just 14 years old, she began working alongside her father wiring houses, setting the foundation for a career that would take her from the jobsite to executive leadership. Along the way, she earned her bachelor's degree from The College of Idaho on a National Merit Scholarship, co-owned a concrete and excavation company, and held roles ranging from superintendent and project manager to Vice President of Operations. Her experience on both sides of the jobsite—from the field to the front office—has given her a unique understanding of the people, challenges, and opportunities that shape the construction industry.
As Let's Build Idaho Program Coordinator, Jessica is passionate about introducing girls to the many opportunities available in construction. She believes hands-on experiences and mentorship can spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire young women to discover what's possible. Jessica is also a lecturer in Boise State University's Construction Management program, bringing her industry experience into the classroom. Outside of work, Jessica loves music, reading, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her husband, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
