The DRBF's Northwest Regional Conference is an annual gathering of DRB users and practitioners in the Northwest Region who meet to discuss best practices, ethics, challenges and solutions.

June 6

 train-clipart  Thursday's session will feature the How to Prepare & Present/Best Practices for DRB Implementation Training Workshop. This workshop will cover how to best manage your DRB program, including tips for successful site visits and meetings, document management and other routine activities as well as how to prepare effective position papers and how to present your position to the Board. Attendees will participate in a mock hearing utilizing the skills learned in this workshop

All participants will receive a certificate of completion. Course may qualify for continuing education credits (subject to the relevant governing board).

 train-clipart Friday's panel sessions will feature the life cycle of a DRB from procurement to completion and a spirited discussion about the future of public construction programs in the Pacific Northwest and how DRBs will factor into project planning. Learn practical steps to improve the avoidance and resolution of disputes on projects, and hear from owners and experienced practitioners on how to secure your first board appointment.
