The Idaho AGC, the state’s largest network of construction professionals, has partnered with the Idaho Workforce Development Council, colleges and universities across the state, and hundreds of Idaho construction companies to develop a course designed to afford students the opportunity to explore a career in construction. With our members' input and partnerships with our community and state colleges, we have developed a one month, 48 hour evening program that provides information and hands-on construction career activities.

The WeBuildIdaho Career Launcher starts its first session on February 25, 2019 in Twin Falls in partnership with the College of Southern Idaho’s Workforce Training Center. An additional course will follow in the Treasure Valley in partnership with the College of Western Idaho, beginning March 12. The Career Launcher course will equip participants with both the basic knowledge and practical skills they need to explore various career pathways in the construction industry. The program also includes valuable training in the communication, technical, and safety skills required to work on a construction jobsite.

Idaho AGC members are invited to participate by being a guest speaker, providing hands-on demonstrations, donating materials, and/or attending the first hiring fair in Twin Falls, which will give YOUR COMPANY the opportunity to meet with prospective employees after they have completed this program.
