Our September Milwaukee Member of the Month is Cody Carter with Specialty Construction Supply!
Sometimes, being a great member of our industry has nothing to do with what happens on the jobsite—and Cody recently gave us a perfect example.
While Idaho AGC’s Sue Fudge was out on her morning walk, she spotted a neighbor’s dog loose in the street and was struggling to get it to safety. After unsuccessfully trying to flag down a couple of passing cars for help, along came Cody!
Cody was in his work truck, working nearby on the Ustick Road project between Linder and Ten Mile, when he saw Sue needed a hand. He stopped, helped wrangle the dog, and stayed with Sue until they were able to contact the owner and get the pup safely home.
It was a simple act of kindness, but one that says a lot about the kind of person Cody is.
Cody is also a hardworking field superintendent, and we especially love the opportunity to recognize the incredible people working in the field who represent the very best of our industry every day.
We’re proud to work closely with Specialty Construction Supply and appreciate the strong team of hardworking, determined, and genuinely good people they have built.
Cody, thank you for stopping to help when someone needed it—and for being the kind of person who makes our industry and our community better. Congratulations on being our September Milwaukee Member of the Month!
