This class is offered at NO COST to you! Construction workers make up approximately 6% of the country's workforce, but account for more than 20% of all job–related fatalities each year. Construction is one of the most hazardous industries in America; each year a substantial number of construction workers lose their lives and countless others are injured. The Focus Four hazards (falls, electrocutions, struck–by's and caught–in's) continue to account for the greatest number of preventable fatalities in the construction industry. Over the last 11 years, on average, 640 workers (more than 50% of all construction fatalities) were needlessly killed and many more were injured despite Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and special emphasis enforcement programs.

Description: This course prepares your trainer to provide your internal, in-house Forklift Operator training program. Includes classroom instruction on how to be an effective trainer, setting up the training, the entire course curriculum, how to evaluate the operators. Course includes: How to be a trainer, color-keyed instructor's manual, overhead templates, a PowerPoint presentation of the course material, a Trainer Card & Certificate, and a storage bag. Each trainer receives printed material for training 20 employees: 20 Student Handbooks, Keyed Written Exam, Student Written Exam, Practical Evaluation Form, Sign-in Sheet, Score Sheet, Record Keeping Instructions, and Student Card Templates. The cost for members is $745 for the first person, $500 for the second and $450 for the third. The cost for non-members is $795 for the first person, $550 for the second and $ 500 for the third.

Description: This 2 day 10 Hour construction safety course was developed by the US Department of Labor to provide construction workers, supervisors, and other personnel responsible for construction activities with an awareness of construction safety and health concerns in the construction industry. Upon successful course completion, the student will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card. The OSHA 10 hr. focuses on the most dangerous areas in the construction industry including the OSHA Introduction, Fall Protection, Electrical, Excavations, Materials Handling, Personal Protective Equipment, Cranes, Stairways and Ladders, Hazard Communication / Silica, and Hand and Power Tools. The cost will be $125 for members and $150 for non-members.

Construction workers comprise approximately 6% of the U.S. workforce, but represent more than 20% of annual job-related fatalities. The �Focus Four� continue to contribute to the greatest number of preventable fatalities in the construction industry. Each successful course participant receives a wallet card and certificate, as well as four hours credit toward the OSHA 10-hour construction safety course. Only six more hours will be required for OSHA 10-hour certification. The cost is $22 for members and $27 for non-members.

Description:
The objective of the AGC Safety Management Training Course is to provide intensive instruction on the basic skills needed to manage a safety program within a company. Participants will receive instruction and training that will allow them to return to their firms with readily applicable new skills. Ideal candidates have responsibilities that include SAFETY from firms that recognize SAFETY as a paramount function. Participants must attend all sessions and pass a written exam to receive a certificate from AGC of America indicating successful completion of the course.
