Overview
Welcome to the Idaho Associated General Contractors Safety
Web Page. In today’s work environment, you can’t
afford not to have a safety program in place. Safety is
one of the most important areas you
will invest in, for both yourself and your employees. Most
safety professionals agree and statistics show, that for
every dollar you spend on safety, you
get a 4-7 dollar return on your investment. Click the link on the right to get started on our new online safety training program!
Safer jobsites equal:
~ Improved employee morale and job satisfaction.
~ Increased quality, productivity and decrease in absenteeism.
~ Reduction of worker compensation claims and expenses related
to injuries and illnesses.
~ Reduction of hidden and other insurance costs.
The Idaho AGC Safety Services Department has a full-time safety
professional who works for you, as an extension of your own
staff. We can help you establish a company safety and health
program or evaluate the program currently in place. We also
provide tailored safety training and jobsite safety inspections.
The primary goal of our safety team is “to be recognized
by our members as the safety solution for their companies.” by
providing comprehensive safety and loss control services that
are affordable and cost effective and as a result improve your
bottom line.
Our Safety Director is an OSHA 500 approved
trainer, and can offer the OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour classes
and much more.
Some of the classes we will be offering regularly include:
